iTineasy ("we", "our", "the app") is a mobile application developed by Zendi Labs LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and protected when you use iTineasy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Trip details: Destinations, travel dates, stay address, activity preferences, budget level, trip vibes, and custom notes.
• Itinerary data: Stops, schedules, timing, and location coordinates for your planned activities.
• Menu photos: Images you choose to upload for menu analysis. These are processed temporarily and not stored after analysis.
• Journal entries and checklists: Personal travel notes and to-do items you create within the app.

Information Collected Automatically

• Device token: A randomly generated identifier stored securely on your device for installation tracking. This is not transmitted to any server.
• Location data: Your device location is accessed only when you explicitly use map or location-sharing features. We do not continuously track your location.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

All your trip data, itineraries, preferences, journal entries, and checklists are stored locally on your device only. iTineasy does not have user accounts, cloud sync, or a backend database. If you uninstall the app, your data is permanently deleted.

3. Third-Party Services

iTineasy uses the following third-party services to provide its features:

OpenAI

We send trip preferences and menu photos to OpenAI's API to generate itineraries, restaurant recommendations, and menu analysis. OpenAI processes this data according to their Privacy Policy. No personally identifiable information is sent — only trip details and images you choose to analyze.

Google Places & Google Maps

We use Google Places API for location search, autocomplete, and place details. Google Maps is used to display your itinerary stops on a map. Your search queries and destination coordinates are sent to Google. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Open-Meteo

We use the Open-Meteo API to provide weather forecasts for your destinations. Only destination coordinates are sent — no personal data. Open-Meteo is a free, open-source weather API.

4. Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, or phone number.
• We do not use analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting services.
• We do not use advertising networks or share data with advertisers.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties.
• We do not track your behavior or usage patterns.

5. Location Data

iTineasy requests location permission to:

• Show your current position on the map.
• Enable location sharing with travel companions (generates a temporary link that expires).

Location access is only activated when you explicitly use these features. We do not track your location in the background.

6. Children's Privacy

iTineasy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Data Security

Sensitive data such as device tokens are stored using your device's secure storage. All communication with third-party APIs is conducted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
