How does app blocking work?

On iOS, PrayGate uses Apple's Screen Time framework to let you voluntarily block apps during prayer, fasting, or devotional periods. You choose which apps to block and for how long. On Android, PrayGate provides session tracking and reminders to help you stay focused.

Where is my data stored?

All your data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to external servers. If you delete the app, your data will be removed.

Can I transfer my data to a new device?

Since data is stored locally, it will transfer automatically if you restore from an iCloud or Google backup when setting up your new device.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store or Google Play. Go to your device's subscription settings to manage or cancel.

The app blocking isn't working

Make sure you've granted Screen Time permissions in your device settings. Go to Settings > Screen Time and ensure PrayGate has the necessary access.
